Platelet Rich Plasma
A small blood sample will be taken from your arm, this then goes into a centrifuge machine. This separates the red blood cells and the platelet- rich plasma. The platelet-rich plasma (also known as liquid gold) is then injected into the face. This facial rejuvenation uses your own blood to promote collagen production. This technique leaves skin looking younger, smoother, healthier & more radiant.

What training do you have?So I’m a registered Nurse with over 10 years experience within the wonderful NHS. I am still working as an NHS nurse part time which I love. This ensures I stay up to date with all mandatory and safety training. Not only this but I went on a medical only advanced training course in aesthetics ran by surgeons in the UK at the British Aesthetic Academy. I have since gone on regular masterclasses and specialised courses to ensure I stay up to date with all recommend techniques and procedures. As registered nurses we have to complete a certain amount of CPD hours every year, showing our commitment to continued professional development.

How many treatments will I need?Generally, 6-10 sessions are required per area for permanent hair removal. However, this varies between client to client. With regards to the face, due to hormonal imbalances we advise 10-12 treatments may be required.
-
Who can it treat? Our top of the range diode laser is suitable for all skin types! Unlike a lot of machines on the market our medically certified machine can be used on darker skin types. However there are some people who will not be suitable for laser hair removal and this will be fully discussed at your consultation. For example if you have white or ginger hair this treatment will not be very effective. This is because this types of hair lacks melanin which is the target for the laser to destroy the hair follicle.
-
How much do I need to pay per treatment? Please see the price lists for individual sessions. We also offer packages of 6 sessions which saves you more money than paying for your sessions separately. Pay in 3 payment plans are also available.

Is there any downtime? There is minimal downtime. You can carry on with most of your daily activities after a session. Your skin may be sensitive, red and potentially swollen. This usually lasts 24/48 hours but can last up to a week. During this time, it is important to wear SPF and avoid sun exposure and sun beds. Avoid putting anything on your skin during this time apart from SPF and aloe Vera gel. At the consultation and patch test all clients will receive pre and post care aftercare leaflets so they can prepare for their session and be aware of what aftercare to follow to ensure you get best results.
-
What is the difference between skin boosters and polynucltodes?Skin boosters are for hydration. They typically work a week or so after treatment and they are made up of pure hyaluronic acid which is injected in specific points. This helps with dry skin and gives an added ‘glow’. The perfect treatment for an event or an occasion where you want your skin to be looking it’s best. Where as polynucleotides work at a more cellular level. They work with your cells by using fish DNA to encourage your own cells to produce and make more of its own collagen and hyaluronic acid. This in time helps with overall skin complexion, hydration, aging and overall skin quality. This is a more premium treatment which has better long lasting results, rather than seeing results straight away.
-
Will an under eye skin booster work for me?If you have hollowness, dark circles, fine lines or wrinkles then the short answer is yes! Under eye skin boosters/ polynucleotides has been designed specifically to target the delicate under eye area to help with these concerns and overall skin quality.
-
Will I receive any aftercare after my treatments? All treatments will be provided with verbal and written aftercare, you will also be given a telephone number which will be available 24\7 in case you needed this or an emergency after your treatment. We pride ourselves on continuing our care to you not just whilst you are having treatment but for the healing time after.
